Wonetha, UHSPA hold Joint World Women's Day

SEXWORKERS rights organisation (WONETHA)and UHSPA on March 8th,2011 held joint International Women's Day activities in Kampala. The two organisations visited and donated items to orphaned and abandoned children at Nsambya Children's Home managed by the Catholic Church.
Later, activists were trained on sexworkers rights by Mr. Kikonyogo Kivumbi and Ms Sarah Kihika, the Chairperon of WONETHA. Mr Kivumbi translated the training to Luganda.
The nun running the children's home thanked the solidarity from Sexworkers and activists. She said she was humbled by the kind gesture of sexworkers as mothers.
