UNFPA brings maternal mortality back on the global agenda


The United Nations Population Fund is currently holding a global conference of health ministers from around the world to highlight the plight of mothers during pregnancy and child births. This millenium development Goal 5 is stuck,with little changes happenning to reduce the deaths. HEPS-Uganda, recently launched a Ugandan campain to promote safe motherhood and avail resources necessary for the health serctor at a meeting at Tick Hotel in Kampala. UHSPA-Uganda is happy to associate its self with this noble cause.
